My new back yard play set

Granny B and Papa Jim got me this awesome play set for my back yard for my birthday. I am having so much fun going down the slide and flexing my muscles!

Layla is even enjoying it.

I'm 2 years old!

I had a great party for my bid 2nd birthday this year. Granny B and Papa Jim hosted it again and I had my family and friends come over and I think we all had a really great time.

My party dress! I thought a cupcake was appropriate for the occasion.

Mom arranged a fun craft for me and my friends. We decorated place mats with spongy stickers.

Here's my place mat. I think I did a pretty good job.

I enjoyed everyone singing to me. Mom and dad got me a Dora cake...it was VERY purple!

My cousin helped me blow out the candle. I was kind of unsure about it.

Eating cake is over rated...I had more fun just sticking spoons in it this year.

I got lots of help from my cousins and friends to open my presents.

Me and my cousin...she is the coolest!

Camping

I went on my first camping trip with my mom, dad, Aunt Melinda, Uncle Fredi and my best bud, Julia. It was definitely an adventure.

June Fun

I had lots of fun during June. Here are a few highlights...

Mom and Dad got me 2 hermit crabs for my birthday...I named them Pinch and Peek-a-boo.

Dad brought home some caterpillars from school at the end of the year. He put them in this cool net in my room and I got to watch them turn in to butterflies.

When they all hatched, it was time to set them free.

They liked their new home in the flowers and started eating right away. Here is a close up of them. We had a total of 9.

We have a snake in our back yard that my dad sees when he is working out there. He put him in a bucket when I was napping one day so that I could see him. I would have reached in to pet him if mom and dad would've had let me. I named him Eek.

We tipped over the bucket and watched him slither over to the rocks.

Here's one of my favorite things to do. I like to get myself stuck in my block bucket...I am crazy flexible.
