My first St. Patrick's Day!!

Well, I had my first St. Patty's day ...I tried to steal a taste of some Irish beer from my parents...I had to do the taste test challenge...Guiness or Smithwicks?? I still can't decide!

Typical day...

Hey guys!! I just thought I would send you some typical day in the life shots. I truly just love hanging out and playing. Sitting on the couch is a blast. It makes me feel like a big girl!!

My mom keeps trying to put these silly things on my head and take pictures...don't ask her how many times she had to do this just to get these next 2 pictures of me sitting still.

Max loves to come over and help me play with my toys. I have also discovered that it is fun to play with him with his toys too. We will play tug-o-war sometimes and my parents really get a kick out of it.

8 Months Old!!

Hey everyone. Sorry that I have been such an poor blogger last month, but here's an update on my life. Let's see; what happened last month? Well, I had a neverending cold that turned out to be an ear infection. My mom went out of town with a bunch of her girlfiends and left me with dad for 6 days. I had a blast hanging out with just dad. Oh, and I still have no teeth!! Here are some highlights from the past month.
I realized that I can turn on the music in my bouncy seat all by myself...oh, and I have probably grown out of my bouncy seat.

I am definitely a thrill seeker!! I love hanging upside down!

I found out that Sadie can also be a horse. I don't know how much she likes it...

And finally, my newest toy thanks to my mom and dad's friends, Jeff and Lori...a jumperoo!!! I love this thing and I am glad that are letting me borrow it!

7 months old!!!

Sorry that I have been slacking on my blogging this month...I apologize. In return, here's a big update for you all to enjoy. Can you believe that I am already 7 months old????
Here I am on my 7 month birthday enjoying some tummy time. I don't get much of this these days because sitting up on my own is much more fun and I have kind of forgotten how to roll myself back over. That is quite frustrating!

Who said high chairs are for eating...I love banging my toys on it!

I love dog time...I don't know how much they love it...

I have become very fascinated with Sadie's collar!

Check out how I cruise around this thing...I just love checking out all the gadgets on it and my parents get a kick out of watching me speed around!! I get geeked up every time they put me in the seat.

My First Christmas

I had a wonderful 1st Christmas!! I spent all day getting showered with love and too many gifts for me to count from my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins!! It was a long day, but I hung in there and had an amazing time. Here are some highlights from my day. Enjoy!!

We moved on to Noni and Papa's house in the afternoon.

My Uncle Jesse and soon-to-be Aunt Michelle got me this cool boom box....I love anything that makes noise or plays music, so this present was perfect. They were helping me figure out how to play with it.

Look at me sitting up all by myself playing with it. My mom predicted that I would be sitting independently by Christmas and she was right!! I had pretty much perfected it by the afternoon and I sat here on the floor for about 10 minutes!!

So, I am officially mastering sitting up on my own. I can usually sit for 1-2 minutes on my own before tumbling over. If something excites me, I tumble rather quickly so mom and dad don't let me sit by myself yet. I have a feeling I am not going to need them at my standby for too much longer. I love Christmas Time!!

My Aunt put this cute hat on me at day care for Santa hat day and I think that I look so cute...My mom put me in this cute Christmas sleeper for red and green picture day at daycare....aunt April has lots of theme days and makes it fun for all of us!!

Grandparent Time

I got to spend time with all of my grandparents this weekend and I had a wonderful time with each of them!!
Here I am with my Noni at her 75th birthday dinner. She had this really cool beaded necklace on that I couldn't resist playing with. Doesn't she look great for 75!!
Here I am with my Papa. He just can't get enough of me and I hear he talks about me alot. He makes the funniest sounds for me and makes me smile.

And here's me and my Papa Jim. I love bouncing on his knees!

My Granny B let me help her make dinner. I think that I am going to able to learn alot from her. Yes, I am sitting on a cutting board...it was perfect!

Dogs Dogs Dogs!

So I am really starting to notice these furry creatures that run around me and lick me all the time. I think my parents call them dogs. I just know that I have definitely become more curious about them and I have starting paying alot more attention to them.
Sadie has the biggest tongue and gives me huge kisses!!

Max has lots of fur for me to grab on to. So far he has been very patient with my grabbing. His small tongue kisses make me smile and giggle.

My grandparents' dog, Buckeye, lets me love all over him...he is not much of a kisser...thank goodness there is one dog that isn't trying to slobber all over me.

ROAD TRIP!!

I went on my very first overnight road trip with my parents last weekend up to Toledo. I had a little cold but I didn't let that ruin my time. We went to visit my parents' friends who I had not met yet. They had this really awesome lamb skin rug in front of their fireplace that I spent hours on. I am really getting into textures and I really liked the feel of this rug on my skin. I can't wait to go back up to visit!

This is Miss Tiffany...she loved all over me all weekend...oh and tooks lots of pictures of me. She really should be a photographer.

And this is Shawn. I think he got tricked into holding me. I think I am the smallest human he has ever held and he did a great job.

Me and Julia

This week my parents got together for dinner with Julia's parents so we got to spend some time together. She is 8 weeks younger than me but I like her already. We have the same taste in bouncy seats as you can see.

I think we both like that silly turtle!!
