Christmas

So, Christmastime time is pretty cool and I had a great time learning all about it this year. I learned that Santa is some guy that says, "Ho, Ho, Ho" and that he frightens me to death. My parents took me to see him and I didn't want any of that.

To start this season off, I helped Mom and Dad pick out a tree this year.

Here Dad and I are going back to tell the people that we have picked a tree. Aren't we cute?
The tree is all decorated...how many times do you think that I took the ornaments off the tree? I drove Mom and Dad nuts!
Christmas Eve, we went over to Granny B and Papa Jim's to celebrate. Here I am with Ro and Ainsley.
Unwrapping gifts with my cousins.
I got this awesome kitchen from my Uncle Chris and Aunt April. They totally made it just for me...super cool!!

Ainsley and I were tired after a very fun night!! I think we were watching Dora's Christmas special together. Can anyone say resemblance??

If there was any doubt, I got a hippopotamus for Christmas!! Thanks Jeff and Barb!

And for all you out-of-towner's, here's a little video of me Christmas morning opening gifts.

I had a great Christmas this year and I was spoiled by all of my family and Santa. I love all of you and thanks so much for the fun times this season!!!

Happy Halloween!

I had a fun Halloween this year. Here I am in my pumpkin shirt. I wore this all day to get ready for trick-o-treating.
My mom put me in this silly bumblebee outfit. I wasn't too excited about it at first.
Then she tried to put this hat on my with silly antennae...I drew the line.
I got used to it and actually starting running around the house!
Here I am on the front porch at Granny and Papa's house ready to get to it.
I was on the move.
I started to get the hang of it and went up to the houses myself.
On the move to the next house.
I finished up at Granny and Papa's house. My cousins had arrived and helped me out.
Photo op with my cousins. Of course only one of us is looking at the camera.
We moved down into my Noni and Papa's neighborhood and I had more fun exploring the houses there. No sidewalks there...
...luckily not a lot of cars though because I went rogue a few times.
Chilling out after a long hour of trick-o-treating. I walked the whole way! What a fun night!

Hocking Hills

Me, mom, dad and dad's whole family went to Hocking Hills this weekend for some hiking and good, old-fashioned family bonding. It was a great time and I can't wait to go back to that wonderful place! If you have never been, I highly recommend it!

Here I am in my backpack ready to go for a nice long hike. The whole gang ready to go hiking...15 people, 3 dogs...it was awesome!Inside Old Man's CaveUpper Falls at Old Man's Cave
Cashed out!
Dad was showing me all that nature had to offer and I loved feeling all the different textures.
The happy family resting after a 2 1/2 mile hike to Cedar Falls. I had a hard time standing up after being in my backpack for hours. I had to find my land-legs again.

Mom was playing peek-a-boo with me around this tree.
I liked picking off the bark. I also tried to put it back on the tree.

Dad and Max were exhausted after such a long day of hiking.
My cousin, Jesse got married back in the woods that evening. Now I have a new cousin, Michelle. I was a very happy to be a part of it and even helped by throwing wet leaves at them after the ceremony. There was no rice available!
The happy Newlyweds!
What a wonderful weekend!!

My first trip to the Zoo

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that my parents took me to the Cincinnati Zoo for the first time. I had a great time seeing all the animals and walking eveywhere!

Me and Mom checking out the elephants.
I had a good time watching the ducks. They kept disappearing under water and coming back up. I didn't know what to think about that.

I walked most of the time. I think it frustrated my parents because I had my own agenda. Here I am waving at the monkeys.
Monkey Island
My favorite place was the Cat House. I loved that they came up to the window to see me. I especially got a chuckle out of the Meercats! They were funny!
Gorillas...
Not too sure about this, Dad!
Then we went to the Children's Zoo. I liked these goats.
I did get brave and pet them.
All in all, really fun first trip to the Zoo. I can't wait to go back!!
